Ankita initially aspired to pursue a healthcare career and enrolled in nursing school. However, during her second year of college, she decided to transition to the field of massage therapy. This shift was driven by her profound interest and extensive knowledge of the human body, coupled with a passion for exercise and healthy living. She completed the Advanced Massage Therapy program at Mohawk College Hamilton, obtaining registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Her training encompasses various massage techniques, including prenatal, Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization techniques, lymphatic drainage, and remedial exercise therapy. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Health Science to further enhance her understanding of human anatomy and refine her skills as a therapist.
