Pooja Ghori is a Registered Physiotherapist & Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who graduated in 2007 from Gujarat University, India. She has worked in one of Asia's largest patient treatment hospitals. She is member of Canadian Physiotherapy association and working in Ontario since 2012 Having worked in a variety of settings: hospital-based physiotherapy and outpatient orthopedic clinics, she brings a wide variety of perspectives to her treatment. She has also experienced working with pediatrics, neurological conditions, sports injury, and geriatrics.
Pooja is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario as a certified Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and can assess and treat pelvic floor musculature for disorders relating to incontinence or pain disorders. She also specializes in assessing and treating patients with Low back, neck pain, upper extremity and lower extremity pain using Mckenzie approach of treatment.
Pooja's treatment style is hands-on and she makes a point to treat each case as unique, staying away from the cookie-cutter model. Her patients see an immediate impact from her treatments and she enjoys helping the community stay healthy. Pooja is dedicated to continuing education and she believes in evidence-based practice and is always educating her patients on ways to eliminate pain, get back into a functional daily routine and future injury prevention
When Pooja is not seeing patients, she spends her time with her three lovely kids and husband. She enjoys crafting and scrapbooking in her leisure time
