LASER therapies are medical treatments that use focused light with very specific wavelengths, allowing it to be focused into powerful beams. Lasers offer surgeons the ability to work very precisely. LASER Therapy can focus on a small area and damage less of the surrounding tissue.

How Laser therapy works?

During this procedure, different wavelengths and outputs of Laser are applied directly to a targeted area. The body tissue then absorbs the light. The red and near-infrared light cause a reaction, and the damaged cells respond with a physiological reaction that promotes regeneration. Although you’ll feel the laser device touching your skin, the procedure is painless and non-invasive.

There will be no sound and you’ll feel no vibration or heat. Each treatment typically takes only a few minutes.

Laser therapy is a non-toxic, pain-free, light-based therapy that is highly effective in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, arthritis, sports injuries and dermatological conditions.

Physiological effects of Laser therapy include increased circulation, reduced inflammation, pain reduction and enhanced tissue healing.

  • Medical applications Include:
  • Ligament/tendon sprain, muscle strains and tears
  • Inflammation (tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, arthritis)
  • Bursitis, tennis elbow
  • Neck pain, lower back pain, knee pain
  • Pain associated with muscle spasms, swelling and joint pain
  • Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis, spinal stenosi, disc herniation, sciatica
  • Acute injuries
  • Gout and lymphedema

The duration of each treatment typically depends on the area being treated and the number of treatments will depend upon the extent of the pathology, the healing capacity of the client, age and acute vs. chronic states.
